春风送暖，元宵情浓。英华留学生部开展了元宵系列活动，让留学生沉浸式感受中华传统节日魅力，在笔墨与灯影中邂逅中国年味。
As the spring breeze brings warmth and the Lantern Festival fills the air with joy, the International Student Department organized a series of activities for international students. The goal was to let them immerse themselves in the charm of traditional Chinese festivals, encountering the festive spirit through brush and ink, and glowing lanterns.
挥毫泼墨间，文化根芽悄然生长。书法教室里，同学们手握毛笔，在老师指导下认真临摹“福”“春”二字。横竖撇捺间，不仅练会了汉字书写，更将对新年的美好期许凝于笔端。
Between strokes of the brush, cultural roots quietly took hold. In the calligraphy classroom, students held writing brushes and carefully copied the Chinese characters "Fu" (blessing) and "Chun" (spring) under the teachers' guidance. Through every horizontal and vertical stroke, they not only practiced Chinese character writing but also condensed their wishes for the new year onto the paper.
 

暮色四合时，武清区文化公园华灯璀璨。各式花灯流光溢彩，同学们驻足观赏、拍照留念，在光影流转中领略传统灯艺的巧夺天工。欢声笑语里，陌生感悄然消融，跨文化的友谊在花灯下升温。
As dusk fell, Wuqing Cultural Park was ablaze with bright lanterns. A variety of glowing lanterns created a dazzling display. Students stopped to admire them, took photos, and appreciated the exquisite craftsmanship of traditional lantern art in the flowing light and shadow. Amidst the laughter, unfamiliarity faded away, and cross-cultural friendships blossomed under the lanterns.
一盏花灯，一幅墨宝，联结起青春与传统。愿同学们在中文学习的路上，继续探索文化之美，收获成长与温暖！
One lantern, one ink artwork—connecting youth with tradition. We hope that on their journey of learning Chinese, the students will continue to explore the beauty of culture and gain growth and warmth!
