Yinghua Academy of Tianjin Holds 2026 Graduation Ceremony, Marking a New Chapter for Students
Recently, Yinghua Academy of Tianjin held its 2026 Graduation Ceremony, where graduates officially stepped into a new stage of life under the witness of teachers, parents, and distinguished guests from home and abroad.
With the theme “When the Aspirations of Eighteen Become a Poem,” the ceremony featured a series of structured events, including the Coming-of-Age Gate ritual, flag-raising ceremony, diploma presentation, student speeches, and artistic performances, showcasing students’ growth, gratitude, and aspirations.
The ceremony began with students passing through the symbolic “Coming-of-Age Gate,” marking their transition into adulthood and the responsibilities that come with it. The final flag-raising ceremony at Yinghua added a solemn and memorable moment to their school journey.
Lin Xiangyang, Board Chair of Yinghua Group and Head of Yinghua Academy, used the concept of "adjustment" as a key theme in his address. He encouraged students to continuously refine their pace, mindset, and direction through both favorable and challenging times, emphasizing that education is not about shaping uniform answers, but about guiding students to discover and become their true selves.
Liang Dong, Principal of Tianjin Yinghua Academy, presented three "gifts" to the graduates: health, passion, and a sense of belonging. He encouraged students to remain curious, resilient, and confident in an uncertain world, while always carrying the spirit of Yinghua with them.
Student representatives from both the international and domestic high school divisions shared reflections on their learning journeys, expressing gratitude to teachers, families, and peers. Outstanding graduates were also recognized for their academic and personal achievements.
A highlight of this year’s ceremony was the integration of international exchange elements. Teachers and students from partner schools in Uzbekistan attended the event, celebrating alongside Yinghua graduates. Their performances symbolized cross-cultural friendship and mutual understanding. The concurrent China-Uzbekistan “Dual Graduation Study Program” further demonstrated the school’s commitment to global education.
Artistic performances by the school’s wind band, a cappella group, and dance team added vitality and emotion to the ceremony. Diplomas were then formally awarded, marking both the completion of a significant academic phase and the beginning of a new journey.
The ceremony concluded with music and heartfelt farewells. The school noted that graduation is not an ending, but a new starting point toward a broader world. Yinghua Academy of Tianjin will continue to support students in becoming globally minded individuals with responsibility and creativity.
Graduates of the Class of 2026 will pursue further studies at universities both in China and abroad, continuing their growth and contributing to society.
