定义青春 不忘初心

——记中加高中高三年级陈疏桐同学

  什么是青春?

青春是一朵枝头绽放的花儿,让人艳羡;青春是一轮夏日的骄阳,激情四射;青春是一双有梦的翅膀,自由翱翔;青春是攀越巅峰的脚步,无畏坚强;青春是一次次挫折后的蜕变,却初心不忘……

2017年11月21日,对于中加国际高中全体师生来说,是一个激动人心的日子。因为这一天,喜讯传来,中加高三年级的陈疏桐同学在今年的ACT考试中总分取得了32分的好成绩,符合美国常春藤大学录取标准,其中英语(English)28分、数学(mathematics)35分、阅读(reading)33分、科学 (science)32分, SAT 2 数学level2 (mathematics level 2)800分(本科考试满分为800分);不仅如此,陈疏桐同学的处女作《与文明的对话同行》也正式出版发行了!

  去世界顶级学府求学和出一本阐发自己见解的书,一直以来都是陈疏桐同学的梦想。所以2015年,他放弃了就读重点高中的机会,而选择英华中加国际高中,就是为了离他的梦想更近一些。

2015年的秋天,这个来自河南的大男孩陈疏桐,如愿以全额奖学金入读天津英华国际学校中加国际高中;经过一年的中加方课程学习,2016年8月,陈疏桐同学就取得了雅思7.5分的优异成绩;在2016年9月,他又经过激烈的竞争和角逐,荣获CCTV"希望之星"英语风采大赛天津赛区一等奖;2017年10月当选中加国际高中学生会主席;而两年来,陈疏桐同学的中加方成绩始终名列前茅,为他冲刺加拿大、香港等名校奠定了坚实的基础。

两年的中加课程学习,不仅丰富了陈疏桐同学的学识、开拓了他的视野,学校丰富多彩的实践活动更让他不断发现自我,有了一个展示自我的平台,从而更加坚定了他的理想和信念!

坚持自己最初的梦想,并为之不懈努力、奋斗,用的汗水和坚强书写最无悔的花季,这就是青春,这就是他对自己青春的定义,也是青春该有的模样!

与文明的对话同行

 

  摘要

  从古至今,文明都是多元存在,这是不可改变的事实。我们主张多元文明的温和对话,反对激烈的对抗,对话就是互动地交流。罗素曾说:"不同文明之间的交流过去已经多次证明是人类文明发展的里程碑。"对抗就是交流的梗阻,它是文明的悲哀,它可导致文明的毁灭

什么是文明?文明从人类精神层面而言,是指道德的情操、理智的思考、艺术的精神、敬畏的信仰、和谐的社会、合理的制度等的总合。在中国古人的视阈里,文明是指人们道德理智的思想、中正而不武邪的礼仪行为、文德教化的人文关怀、典章制度的文明行健等。日本著名启蒙思想家福泽谕吉在《文明论概略》中说:"文明论是探讨人类精神发展的理论。其目的不在于讨论个人的精神发展,而是讨论广大群众的总的精神发展。所以,文明论也可称为群众精神发展论。"他把文明做广义和狭义两方面解释:就狭义而言,是单纯地以人力增加人类的物质需要或增多衣食住的外表装饰;就广义来说,那就不仅在于追求衣食住的享受,而且要砺智修德,把人类提高到高尚的境界。

在世界文明中,中华文明、印度文明、基督教文明、伊斯兰教文明始终处于领先地位,为人类的发展各自做出了贡献。但几乎每一个文明都倾向于把自己看作世界的中心,并习惯于把自己的历史当作是全人类的历史来撰写,而且总是把本文明认为是普世主义的文明。相比较而言,西方文明更是如此。它甚至这样假设:"只存在着一条文明之河,那就是我们自己的,所有其他的文明之河都或者从属于它,或者消失在荒漠之中"。尽管一直有许多学者警告这是一种错误和偏见,并且强调需要努力寻找一个更为广阔的视野,理解"世界上伟大的文明冲突和世界文明的多样性"。但是,一直到上世纪末这种错误与偏见不仅依然存在,而且已膨胀为普遍的狭隘的自负,他们甚至认为欧洲的西方文明理所当然地应该成为全世界的普遍的文明。

虽然各种不同的文明不可避免的会在意识形态和物质形态上有过碰撞,但必须承认,碰撞式的对话是一个和谐的过程,是相容和"大同"等未来理想的前提。为了正确评价和纠正偏激错误的文明观,促进国内、国际和谐以及人类与自然界的和谐,我们有必要以文明为中心,从辩证法出发,通过对文明的意识领域进行一个由对立走向统一的历史剖析,来研究如何促进国家内部文明与世界文明的和谐发展。本书从顾炎武所代表的中国内部文明对话和亨廷顿所代表的世界文明对话谈起,加深对绿色、互联网和地球村等新概念的探讨,以河南地域文化为文明融合的缩影,终结于新时代的和谐社会思想,旨在对国内国际各种文明的发展方向做一个大胆的预测,即在未来的相当长一段时间内,人类社会的发展必将是与文明的对话同行的过程。

 

 

Dialogue with Civilization

Abstract

It is an immutable fact that civilization is a pluralistic existence since ancient times. We advocate a moderate dialogue among civilizations and against fierce confrontation. Russell once said: "The exchange of civilizations has proven to be a milestone in the development of human civilization on many occasions." Confrontation is the obstruction of communication and the sorrow of civilization. It can lead to the destruction.

What is civilization? From the human spirit level, it refers to the summation of moral sentiments, rational thinking, artistic spirit, awe belief, harmonious society, reasonable system and so on. In the visual threshold of Chinese ancients, it refers to the thought of people's moral reason, the etiquette behavior of the right, the humanistic solicitude of the culture and the civilization of the system of the ordinances. In the Compendium of Civilization, the famous Japanese Enlightenment thinker, Fukuzawa Yukichi, said, "The Theory of Civilization is the theory that explores the development of human spirit. It is not aimed at discussing the spiritual development of the individual, but to discuss the general spiritual development of the masses. Therefore, The Theory of Civilization can also be called Theory of Mass Spiritual Development." He interprets civilization in both broad and narrow terms: in a narrow sense, it is simply to increase human material needs or the appearance of food and clothing to decorate; in a broad sense, it is not only to pursue the enjoyment of food and clothing, but also pay attention to morality and raise man to the noble realm.

Among the world civilization, Chinese civilization, Indian civilization, Christian civilization, and Islamic civilization have always been a leading position. They have made their own contribution to the development of human beings. But almost every civilization tends to regard itself as the center of the world and accustomed to writing its own history as the history of all mankind and regarding their civilization as universalist civilization. In contrast, Western civilization is even more so. Western people even assume that their civilization is the only civilization and all the other are either subordinate to them or will disappear. Although there have been many scholars who warn that this viewpoint is improper and prejudicial, and stressed the need to strive to find a broader vision and understand the worlds great clash of civilizations and the diversity of world civilization. However, until the end of the century, not only this error and prejudice still exist, but it has expanded into a general narrow self-conceit. They even think that Western European civilization should naturally become the worlds universal civilization.

Although various civilization inevitably collide in ideology and material form, it must be admitted that the collision dialogue is a harmonious process, and is the prerequisite for the future ideals of compatibility and "Datong". In order to correctly evaluate and correct the extreme wrong civilization view, promote domestic and international harmony as well as the harmony between mankind and nature, it is necessary for us to take civilization as the center and dialectically study how to promote the harmonious development of internal civilization and world civilization through a historical analysis of the consciousness field of civilization from opposite to unification. This book discusses the new concepts such as green, the Internet and the Global Village by the dialogue between Chinas internal civilizations and the world civilized dialogue represented by Huntington. It begins with the regional culture of Henan, the epitome of the fusion of civilization, and ends in the new era of Harmonious Society Thought, aiming at making a bold prediction to the development direction of domestic and international civilization. It is that, in the future for a long time, the development of human society will be the process of dialogue with civilized counterparts.
